Moving to North Carolina, he attended the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the University of North Carolina. Becoming skilled in cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, complex crown and bridge treatment, and other areas of dentistry, he continues to pursue additional training and courses to advance his skills and talents.

I’ve been going to this practice for a while now and think they do great with adults. But today I took my kids for the first time and was blown away how amazing the entire staff was with my three kids at the same time. All of the kids had a wonderful experience and they came out really excited about their good reports from the staff. Kids are 11, 9, and 5. Well done to the whole team!

If you don’t see the information that you’re looking for below, don’t hesitate to give us a call. We’d be happy to address any questions or concerns that you have.

How do I get emergency dental care?

If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911. For pretty much any other type of dental emergency, it’s best to seek help from an emergency dentist. Most hospital ERs and urgent clinics are not equipped to handle dental emergencies, so you are unlikely to get the treatment you need there. The first step when you need emergency dental care is to give our office a call. This way, you can let our team know what’s going on so we can schedule a same-day emergency appointment. The goal of this visit is to get to the root of the problem, eliminate any pain, and put together a treatment plan to restore the health of your smile.

How do I find the best place to get dental work done?

The first step is to figure out exactly what you are looking for and what’s important to you. This usually includes welcoming your insurance, location, and hours. You should also think about which services you are interested in. For instance, if you are interested in cosmetic dentistry or sedation options for dental anxiety, you should choose a dentist who offers those services. Lastly, you should get a feel for the practice and how they treat their patients. A good way to do this is by reading patient receives and checking out the doctor and staff bios on their website. This way, you can confirm that the dentist meets the criteria you have established.

How much does a dental check-up & cleaning cost near Raintree?

The cost of cleanings and checkups can vary on different factors, like geography and your current dental health. This appointment should begin with going over your health history and discussing any concerns that you have. It should also include a thorough exam completed by your dentist, a professional cleaning, X-rays, and an oral cancer screening. The average cost in markets across the United States is between $200 and $350. If you have dental insurance, you will likely receive coverage from your provider.

What do you do if you can't afford a dentist?

Dentistry is all about prevention. It is ideal and more affordable to work with your dentist to prevent serious dental issues before they occur. Dental insurance is an effective tool to help pay for dental care if you have access to it through your employer or another means. Aside from dental insurance, it could be beneficial for you to choose a dentist who offers an in-house dental plan. These are designed to function similarly to dental insurance for a flat, yearly fee. This way, you can get many of the benefits of dental insurance, without a lot of the red tape.
